Meet the woman behind the words

Hi my name is Makhosazane Twala I am a communication science and journalist student at the university of the free state, this blog is initially for my journalism module but I will be posting about interesting stuff that have nothing to do with the initial reason the blog was created.

In person I am very bubbly but yet not so outgoing. I am turning 21 this year (2018) and completing my degree. Yey! Hopeful the devil will stay in his place and let me get on. I am one of two girls out of seven kids, yep I have five brothers. It the worst. I would love to travel the world one day like most of us but home will always be South Africa. My biggest goal in life is to have my very own talk show which would be a bigger platform to do what I love beyond everything, share and tell stories. Not just stories but stories that remind us that we are of one race, human race therefore we should walk and work with and not against each other.

Apart from being a student I do pageants and I am currently Miss Free State 2^nd princess and that is where the name of this blog emerges from. In most cases you are required to do community/charity work during the pageant, and that’s how I got to discover my passion, telling stories of the homeless.

My heart was overwhelmed by the untold stories I discovered during my community work therefore I would love to share such stories with you.
